Why view-once cannot be saved the usual way
Telegram’s “view once” mode is designed to limit repeat access: after you close the media, it disappears from the chat for the recipient. Screenshots may be blocked or fail to give a full copy.
PIPA does not break Telegram encryption — the bot receives events through the Telegram Business API once you connect @pipa_official_bot to the right chats. The copy goes only to you, in your private bot chat.

Open Chat automation in Telegram
On your phone: Settings → Chat automation. If you do not see it — Settings → Telegram Business → Chat bots. The section may be missing on desktop — use the mobile app.
Add @pipa_official_bot and select chats
Find @pipa_official_bot, connect it to your profile, and select personal chats where you want view-once copies. You can change the list later in the same settings.
When view-once arrives — check your bot chat
When your contact sends a view-once photo or video, PIPA forwards the media to your bot chat. Tap “Show” in the bot message to open the file.

Can I save view-once without a bot?
In regular Telegram you cannot reopen view-once media after viewing. PIPA is a legitimate way to get a copy through official integration — if you connected the bot before receiving the file.
Will my contact know I saved view-once?
No. PIPA works silently: notifications go only to your chat with @pipa_official_bot. Your contact is not notified about the connection or forwarding.
Does this work for view-once sent before I connected?
