Why deleted messages are invisible in Telegram
When your contact deletes a message “for everyone”, it vanishes from both sides’ chat history. There is no built-in recycle bin or deletion log in the normal Telegram UI.
PIPA does not pull data from Telegram’s servers retroactively — the bot reacts to a deletion event after connection and forwards the copy it received within the Telegram Business API.
Which message types are copied
Text, photos, videos, voice messages, stickers, and documents are copied — everything the API supports in the selected chat.
If a message was deleted before the bot was connected to that chat, PIPA cannot recover it. Plan to connect before you need coverage.
Where the copy goes and who can see it
The notification goes only to your private chat with @pipa_official_bot. No third-party dashboards or shared archives — you decide what to keep or delete in the bot chat.

Connect @pipa_official_bot to your profile
Settings → Chat automation or Telegram Business → Chat bots — add @pipa_official_bot and select chats where you need deletion alerts.

On deletion — check your bot chat
Once a message is deleted in a covered chat, PIPA sends a copy to your bot chat. Open @pipa_official_bot and find the latest notification.
FAQ
Does PIPA restore chats from before I connected?
No. Only events after you connect @pipa_official_bot and choose chats. That is a Telegram Business API limit, not a Telegram archive feature.
Can my contact see that I got a deletion copy?
No. Notifications go only to your bot chat. PIPA does not message your contact about interception.
Does this work in groups?
Coverage depends on Telegram API settings and which chats you selected when connecting. PIPA targets personal chats you explicitly mark in Chat automation.
How long is a deleted-message copy kept?
The copy stays in your chat with @pipa_official_bot as a normal Telegram message — you manage the history: delete, pin, or keep it.
